How do I dispose of yard waste?

Yard waste includes: leaves, shrubbery clippings, tree branches and other gardening waste. 

It is against the law to put yard waste in the trash.

        LEAVES are to be collected separately from other yard waste, in paper compost bags.

        Clippings, branches and other plant material should be packaged in paper compost bags separate from leaves.

        Please tie branches into bundles no more than 4 feet long and weighing no more that 40 pounds.

IMPORTANT: Please do not put grass clippings with yard waste or with your trash. 

We encourage residents to mow their grass often enough to allow the clippings to mulch the lawn naturally.

COLLECTION: Place yard waste bags at the FRONT OF YOUR PROPERTY ON STREET CLEANING DAYS for collection by a truck dedicated to that service.
